What will I do?

A candidate must engage in a church-related service or leadership project for a period of at least three months, if the activity is weekly; less if the activity involves each day of a week or several days a week. The project should be a challenge to the candidate, perhaps in an area in which he has limited experience. He should be involved with other people so that he has the opportunity to disciple another young person(s) or learn from an older person(s).
Some examples might be: teaching a Sunday School class, assisting in children’s church, serving as a junior counselor at camp, leading singing in the evening service.
A candidate may be involved in more than one activity.

Some examples: serve as a volunteer in a park district or YMCA day camp, serve on a youth cleanup crew for the city, engage in an evangelism project with others, serve as a volunteer in a senior citizen’s home.
