If you and your dad would like to join our Tadpole group, call the church office (716) 223-7494 or Email Brigade at PCC for more information.
Tadpole Purpose:  To give dads an opportunity to build friendships with their preschool children and share the love of Christ with them. To create an outreach to the dads and encourage them to develop their parenting skills.
Tadpole Goal: To encourage preschool children to develop physically, have time with their dads on a regular basis, and learn about God’s love for them. Also, to encourage dads to develop as good parents and solid Christians.
A Weekly Meeting Goes Something Like This…

At the start of our meeting, we gather with the other Brigade age-groups to hear announcements, honor boys who are receiving badges, share prayer concerns and pray about them, say the Pledge of Allegiance, and contribute our 'shares'.

- Tadpoles Starter
After we break from the stockade, and gather in our own room, we review our current theme and the corresponding Bible verse, and do our Tadpole Cheer. Themes this year have included Being Patient, Being Cheerful, Being Thankful, and Being Generous.

- Tadpoles Story
Next, one of the Dad's reads a Bible story related to our current theme. We try to make the story interesting and relevant to the boys by using props, acting out portions of the story, and asking basic questions.

- Tadpoles Activity
During activity time, each Tadpole works with his dad on some sort of craft - again, related to our current theme.

- Tadpoles Game
For game time, we move up to the Fellowship Hall, and play a game. We try to incorporate the current theme into the game, but our main focus is having fun together, and giving the boys a chance to use up some energy.

- Tadpoles Snack
We conclude our meeting with a light snack. The boys help pass out cups, napkins, and food, as well as lead the prayer before we eat.  We rotate responsibility for the Story, Activity, Game, and Snack each week.
