| Last school year (2003/2004), we had an icon on the main page outlining how NYSED was discriminating against homeschoolers. We just want you all to know that your prayers did not go unheard. Be sure to check out the NYSED update! |

As our home page gets updated each time, information snippets come and go... We thought that we would try to keep a history of those items here, in time-line fashion, rather than just deleting them forever.
| 02/2005, I think we all survived the father/son overnight... Steve - did we *all* survive??? Okay, well *most* of us survived it! Just remember that snowboards are for children, not adults! :-) I think that a good time was had by all, and we got to spend some extra time with our sons, which is always a good. The unpredicted snowfall was an added blessing too. It may have made it hard to get our vehicles up the hill, but it made all the difference on the sledding hill! | |
| 12/2003, The recent open house get-together was a real blessing! Despite the flakes falling outside, there was a grand turnout... many more than we had anticipated (and that's not a bad thing). Nevertheless, God always knows what He is doing! Hopefully, everybody had a good time of fellowship. In addition to good company, the food was wonderful too! From the stuffed bread, to the cheesecake, to the cleverly decorated 'rodent-like' cookies - everything was delicious! We hope you had a chance to get acquainted with some of the newer OOG LEAH members as well. Thank you to all who came out on such a snowy night. It's always a blessing when we get together... | |
| 11/2003, Thanksgiving is fast approaching! As you share this time together as a family, reflect back on the origins of the holiday, and give thanks to God for the good things He has done! If you need a quick primer on how Thanksgiving got started, check out this short article entitled "A brief history of Thanksgiving" by Ray Johnson. Have a blessed holiday, and don't forget to give thanks!!! | |
| 11/2003, Don't forget the upcoming share night. We will, unfortunately, be attending the mandatory Fall Fellowship NYS L.E.A.H. Chapter Leaders meeting that same day. We will miss seeing you all, and especially miss what the kids have to share. Even if you don't have anything prepared, be sure to come anyway. This evening is always a very special blessing for all who attend. | |
| 10/2003, [We would like to express our appreciation to the entire group for the generous way you poured out your love towards us, and literally made it possible for Suzy to fly to Tennessee and minister to her sister. We hadn't a clue of what was going on... and we were nothing short of totally overwhelmed by this gesture. It is amazing to see the Lord work in so many hearts, as we all share this burden together. Truly; each one of you make up one amazing group of very dear saints! Thank you so much.] |
