We got new computer, we are still transferring files. Thank you for your patient. We were fortunate to get old computer going again to allow us update the website again this morning.

Rochester:Paws n Claws may be at Petsmart on Feb 2nd Thursday evening or Feb 3rd Friday evening ( If we are unable to update the web site again before Thursday/Friday - Please call the store at 227-6700 on Thursday/Friday to see if we are going to be there Thank you) We definitely will be there on Saturday Feb 5th 12: 30 pm - 8 pm at 3042 West Ridge Rd in Greece, N.Y 14626. (its in the same plaza as JoAnne's Fabrics across from Ridgemont Plaza and its next to Lowe's). Hope to see you there !

If you are interested in one of the dogs or cats on the web site and are coming from out of town to visit when we have one of our adoption days, please fill out the online application and please send email pawsnclaws2005@yahoo.com to verify if the dog/cat will be at adoptions and request particular animal to be there to meet or possibly make other arrangements to meet one to one during the week / weekend at another destination.

Our mission is to help these unwanted animals to have another chance to find good new loving forever homes. Only who can make that difference is the persons who adopts them takes the full pledged to lifelong commitment, responsibly, love, devotion, cherish and take care of their companion through sickness and health until death does you apart.

If you have found THE ONE you would like and are interested to adopt, please fill out the online application completely. The more information we have the better we can help you and ensure the success of adoption to determine if this is the best pet and owner match.

Please be advised that we are volunteers. We all have full-time jobs, families, and animals of our own. Many of us work more hours doing rescue work than we do at our full-time jobs. While we make every effort to process applications and return phone calls immediately, this may not always happen. Please, be patient with us. Emergency medical calls and calls about the safety of our animals take priority. Application processing takes time depending on the volume of applications received and the presence of certain dogs and puppies on the web site. All Adoptions can not be paid with checks.We also take our extra special time to help the ones who are in danger still being at the pounds.

It sometimes takes a great deal of volunteer time to process an application. It may take a few days or a week, thank you for your patience. We check references. We are solely committed to our dogs and cats accepted into the program. Yes, we want to find them loving, permanent homes, but our dogs and cats are in no danger of any harm or being destroyed for lack of permanent homes. We go through great lengths to place the right dog and cat into the right family. We reserve the right to decline an adoption based on the best interest of the dog and cat. Sometimes there are multiple applications for the same pet. This can make it difficult for all involved. We strive to make the best decision for the pet and you !
