Imagine Monroe and it’s surrounding counties sharing a vibrant economy:

   •   Parks and open space preserved for our children,
   •   Traffic is better managed,
   •   Farmland preserved at all costs,
   •   Commerce, industry, city and suburbs coexist in a stable
           thriving environment,
   •   Safe neighborhoods.

These can be accomplished by implementing what are called "smart growth" initiatives.

We are a group of residents, businesses, and faith communities working to move the Greater Rochester Area forward in the emerging global market and improve the quality of life. We advocate for planned regional growth that will achieve a sustainable and thriving community. We encourage a planning process that is inclusive of the residents and businesses of the Greater Rochester Area. The planning process must empower people to identify and act together upon the spiritual, social, environmental, governmental, and economic issues which define our neighborhoods and region.
