Information Gathering and Web Page Development

Information Gathering/Web Page development: occasionally local non-profit groups contact us seeking a volunteer formatter for their group’s web page. Volunteer opportunities are posted to the GGW Volunteers’ mailing list when they occur. This is a good way to develop your web page skills and help a local not-for-profit group.

Technical Services

The Genesee Gateway operates multiple web servers.  We currently have Linux/Apache systems.  We need volunteers to help administer the servers, field questions submitted to our support ticket system as well as those who can assist us in creating new applications and services.

  Rochester Free-Net Board

Help our key volunteers expand present Genesee Gateway services into areas such as Education & Outreach, Fundraising, and Public Relations & Marketing. Meetings generally monthly presently on the last Tuesday of the month at 7 pm either in a local public library or other convenient location.
