CWS Annual Workshop and Dinner

At the annual CWS Workshop, members have an opportunity to participate in learning experiences, share ideas, and network with colleagues across our six county Section. The Workshop takes place during the first week in February at Nazareth College. The date is announced on the CWS Calendar. Information is sent to members in December by e-mail and to schools via the Science Matters network. The program consists of a welcome reception, workshops, and a dinner. A certificate for inservice credit is available at the end of the program. Details concerning the current year's event may be accessed from the link below.

The workhop originally scheduled for February 5 is set for Monday, April 7, 2014. Information is in the Program Flyer (pdf). Here you will find the schedule, workshop descriptions, registration form, STANYS membership form, campus map, and an outline of dinner speaker Douglas Llewellyn's talk "Ready or Not, Here They Come--the New National Standards and their Implication for Scientific Argumentation."

Registration is due Wednesday, April 2. Please send your registration form and a check payable to CWS-STANYS in the amount of $25 (non-member) or $20 (current member and preservice student) to the address below.
